Design Philosophy

Our designs are collaborative, intuitive, considered and inspiring.  Spatially designed layouts connecting space to purpose.

Working with nature, bringing the outdoors in, grounding the soul.  Biophilic design elements always integral, promoting the holistic sense of wellbeing and connectedness to nature.  Sustainable materials sourced where possible, with life cycles front of mind.

Natural, textured, asymmetrical, imperfection is embraced.  Splashes of colour used to evoke desired feels and atmospheres.

Most importantly, a space created to feel cohesive, warm, nourishing & comforting.

Sophie is a highly organised, creative visionary with twelve years of interior design industry experience.  Her exceptional communication and time management skills, self motivation, warm, bubbly and passionate personality is what will gravitate you upon meeting with her.

Sophie is the all rounder here at Lennon House.  A Mum to an amazing boy, Lennon, the inspiration behind the name 'Lennon House', used in a bid to seperate herself from her work - a difficult feat for a creative type!

Sophie is a qualified interior designer (Bachelor of Arts (IntDes)) living and breathing everything interior related; Materiality, homewares, plants, linen, surfaces, tiles, rugs, just to name a few.

Never one to let life get in the way of her goals and ambitions, Sophie chose to use the Covid-19 Pandemic to her advantage by up-skilling her interior design diploma she completed ten years prior into a Bachelor Degree of Arts (interior design) through the Australian Collage of The Arts (Collarts).

Sophie has a demonstrated history of working in Residential Creative Concept Design, Revit, 3D Visualisation, Residential Interior Fit-out, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and Microsoft Office Suite, as well as a multitude of social platforms.  She has a keen interest in Biophilic and Commercial Design.

In the rare downtime that Sophie gets, she enjoys spending her time with her boy and their two gorgeous pups, Frankie and Estella.  She loves a good dose of laughter with friends and playing around with her extensive collection of plants.
