Sophie Barratt is the heart and creative force behind Lennon House, a full-service interior design studio based in Geelong. With over 12 years of industry experience and a Bachelor of Arts (Interior Design), Sophie combines deep technical expertise with an intuitive eye for timeless, textural spaces that reflect her clients’ lifestyles.

Named after her son, Lennon, the studio was born in 2018 when Sophie—on the cusp of returning from maternity leave—chose to build a design practice that allowed her to balance motherhood and creative purpose. What began with word-of-mouth referrals quickly evolved into a respected brand, with Sophie’s work gaining traction through Instagram and organic client demand.

Sophie’s strengths lie in her visionary approach, warm and professional nature, and ability to translate a client’s brief into beautiful, livable interiors. Her portfolio spans high-end residential projects, creative concept development, 3D visualisation, Revit documentation, interior fit-outs, and procurement. She also has a growing interest in biophilic and commercial design.

Lennon House is proud to collaborate with leading architects, builders, and property developers across Victoria. Behind the scenes, Sophie mentors and leads a team of emerging graduate designers to ensure every detail is refined and every project meets the highest standard.

Sophie’s passion for design is deeply personal, rooted in her desire to create inspiring environments while remaining present in her son’s life. Outside of work, she enjoys family time with Lennon and their two dogs, Frankie and Estella, catching up with friends, and nurturing her ever-expanding plant collection.
